Google Cloud Arcade provides monthly free learning credits. Here is how you can set up your subscription to receive them:

1. Visit the official Google Cloud Arcade Portal.
2. Click on the subscribe section, or complete the direct Google Skills Arcade Program Subscription Form.
3. Submit your Google Cloud Skills Boost account email address in the subscription form.
4. Check your registered email inbox monthly for promotional codes, game announcements, and free credit claims.

💡 Tip: Make sure the email address you submit matches your primary Qwiklabs/Skills Boost account email exactly so the monthly credits are deposited correctly.

The Google Cloud Arcade is a gamified learning platform designed to help developers, students, and cloud enthusiasts build real-world proficiency with GCP. By completing modular labs, quests, and trivia games, users earn digital badges which translate into points that can be redeemed for official Google Cloud swag and tech rewards.

Swag redemptions are governed by 4 milestones. Higher milestones yield premium reward packages:

• Milestone 1: Unlocked by completing 6 Arcade Games and 18 Skill Badges.
• Milestone 2: Unlocked by completing 8 Arcade Games and 34 Skill Badges.
• Milestone 3: Unlocked by completing 10 Arcade Games and 50 Skill Badges.
• Milestone 4 (Ultimate): Unlocked by completing 12 Arcade Games and 66 Skill Badges.

Points are calculated using the active cohort rules: Games contribute 1.0 point each (including merged Trivia). Skill badges contribute 1.0 point for every 2 completions, calculated in pairs using Math.floor(skills / 2). This means odd-numbered skill badges do not provide points until a matching pair is earned. Simply paste your public profile URL into our calculator to view your automated audit!

If you hit this limit, further lab attempts will fail with quota errors. After being restricted, you recover attempts at a rate of 1 new attempt every 2 hours, or you can wait a full 24 hours for your daily quota to reset completely.

💡 Pro-Tip: While waiting for your lab quota to cool down, focus on completing Lab-Free Course Badges. They require no cloud resource provisioning and will not consume your daily quota, yet they are crucial gatekeepers for milestone approvals.

If your profile or Qwiklabs account gets blocked, you can request an unban by emailing arcade-facilitator@google.com. Provide your profile details and explain your situation clearly.

⚠️ Important Age Limitation: Due to platform privacy and terms of service regulations, participants under the age of 18 are strictly ineligible to be unblocked or redeem prizes. If automated audits flag a user under 18, their block will remain permanent.

The Google Cloud Arcade program does not ship prizes or merchandise to the following excluded countries:

Participants residing in the restricted regions can still complete learning activities for skills, but they will not be eligible to receive physical swag at redemption. However, participants in all other eligible countries (including India) will receive their rewards successfully.

Swag redemption is done through the official Google Cloud Arcade Swag Store. The prize counters are seasonal. The upcoming redemption counter is scheduled to open in July 2026. During the redemption window, you can use your accumulated points to claim prizes. Swarovski, jackets, water bottles, and cloud hardware are usually available depending on your unlocked Milestone Tier.

Participants achieving this rank earn custom visual badges on Google Cloud forums, premium physical certificates, and exclusive invitations to Google-sponsored virtual networking meetups with Senior Cloud Architects.

After you complete 2 skill badges you are eligible to earn 1 Arcade point. For every 6 skills badges you will get 3 Arcade points and so on...

Unfortunately, earning 1 skill badge will not be enough to claim an Arcade point. You will need to complete at least 2 Skill Badges to earn one point.

Users will get a special badge for each game they complete in this event and for each badge earned user will also receive 1 Arcade point which in turn will be used to redeem goodies when the prize counter opens. Please note there won’t be any physical certificates or goodies just for completing the game.

Yes! The more badges you earn, the more arcade points you accumulate. Redeem points for prizes at the prize counter. The prize counter will be open at the end of the year.

No. You will not be able to claim a prize immediately. You'll be able to claim prizes when the prize counter opens.

Activate the Arcade for your account. Then join games, complete labs, learn skills, and earn badges! Each challenge consists of multiple labs. Complete all the labs successfully to earn the badge. Each badge gets you one point. Periodically, the prize counter will open and you'll be able to use points to claim swag.

Yes! They are completely different. The milestones in the Arcade Facilitator program are different from the Arcade Player achievements.

Note that, under the facilitator program, you mainly earn "Bonus" points when you complete a milestone and you earn "Arcade" points according to the Google Skills Arcade points system. Thus you can accumulate the Bonus points earned in the facilitator program and add that to your actual Arcade points to reach any of the mentioned player achievements and receive swags for that particular swag tier at the end of an Arcade season.
