1. Introduction

PI Arcade Compass (the "Platform"), developed by Pentaverse India community leaders, is designed to respect and safeguard user privacy. We do not require account registration, email sign-ups, or passwords. This Privacy Policy outlines what information is processed when you use our analytics companion.

2. Information We Process

The Platform only processes information that is already made publicly available by you on the internet. Specifically:

  • When you submit a Google Cloud Skills Boost public profile URL, our server programmatically scrapes the public HTML of that page.
  • This scrapes your public profile name, avatar image URL, and the titles, badges, and dates of your completed learning activities.
  • We do not have access to, nor do we request, your private account login credentials, email address, password, or billing information.

3. How Your Information Is Used

We process your public profile data solely to deliver Platform utilities, including:

  • Calculating your estimated Arcade points, milestone completions, and tier statuses.
  • Generating personalized, AI-powered strategic recommendations.
  • Rendering a downloadable custom "Arcade Passport" graphic featuring your public profile avatar.
  • Compiling cohort leaderboards for registered community cohorts.

4. Data Retention, Cache & Local Storage

We believe in minimal data footprint practices:

  • Lightning Cache: Scraped profile payloads are temporarily cached in-memory on our server for exactly 1 hour. This prevents redundant scraping requests, reduces server load, and complies with rate limits. Expired cache entries are deleted automatically.
  • Local Storage: The Platform utilizes browser local storage (`localStorage`) on your physical device to remember your settings, including dark/light mode, sound volume toggle, selected cohort filters, notification read markers, and your saved facilitator referral code. This data remains on your machine and is never sent to our database.

5. No Data Sharing or Selling

We are a community learning resource, not a commercial enterprise. PI Arcade Compass never sells, leases, rents, or shares your profile analytics or usage history with any advertising networks, corporate brokers, or third parties.

6. Third-Party Integrations

To deliver advanced community capabilities, the Platform safely routes specific requests:

  • Gemini AI Strategist: When generating personalized advice, the Platform sends a structured prompt containing only your public name, badge counts, and milestone details to the Gemini API. No email, personal identifiers, or profile URLs are shared with the API.
  • CORS Avatar Proxy: To allow you to download a custom passport graphic featuring your public avatar, the Platform proxies the avatar image stream through our secure server. This resolves browser CORS security restrictions dynamically and does not store the image on our servers.

7. Your Control & Profile Privacy

You maintain full control over your public footprint. Since PI Arcade Compass strictly relies on public Skills Boost endpoints, you can completely block the Platform from parsing your profile at any time by logging into your Google Cloud Skills Boost account, navigating to your profile settings, and setting your profile status to "Private".
